Covid – 19  Measures

Liverpool VRVE space out our sessions to allow for cleaning of studios  and we are now only accepting private hire. We have plenty of time to air out and clean between sessions and there is only your group and our host in the studio at once. There is a ventilation system in the Studios that brings in fresh air and expels the air out of the room.

We have hand sanitisers in reception and by the entrance to both studios for use regularly by staff and clients. Wearing a mask is optional for clients as you hire the studio to yourselves.  Finally, besides our main headset, everyone will use a separate headset and if requested, our studio host will also wear a mask or Face shield.   Please note due to our Coronavirus measures, we may call to adjust timings or rearrange bookings made less than a week in advance if it allows for safer playing.

Everybody over 16 must either scan our QR code for track and trace or leave their contact details with us. We keep these for 21 days as per protocol from the government to allow for Track and Trace.

What is VR and what Equipment do you have?

Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.  Virtual Reality is where you put a comfortable Headset on and experience a multitude of games and experiences for all your senses.

Each individual will wear one of our wireless headsets, providing high quality wireless VR, complete with full room scale tracking and controllers. There is a diverse range of fantastic experiences available and you can easily swap to a new game whenever you like. It’s super easy to use these headsets and there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Our main headset provides the ultimate experience in VR, with full room scale movement. The view from this headset is projected onto our massive 150″ screen and the audio through our 5.1 sound system. Everyone has a blast using this and spectators can watch on the large screen.

We have Two Studios at the VRVE, so there is plenty of room for you and your party.

Who can use VR?

We have an extensive catalogue of games, there’s truly something for everyone. We cater for people 10 years and above, with no technical knowledge required. For children aged 12 or younger, we require one adult per three children to help supervise and take care of our equipment.

How many people can come?

For a 1 hour slot, 4-6 people is ideal for each studio, which allows for a good amount of time for everyone to try a variety of experiences. Each studio is exclusive to your party.  Our studios can facilitate a maximum of 10 people under our party bookings at an additional cost of £10.00/pp, contact us for more details! Please bear in mind that our equipment may need to be shared among larger groups, so the more people you bring the less time each you may have in VR during the session.

Can I bring a larger Group?

Yes! We can accommodate a maximum of 10 people in each studio.

For children 10 to 12 years, a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children.

For children 12 to 16 years, a ratio of 1 adult to 8 children.

We charge an additional £10.00/pp above our standard pricing (for parties larger than 6 people). Please contact us for further details about  larger group bookings.
